Frequently Asked Questions:

Arthritis Support

Can someone with arthritis use the Uccello Kettle without assistance?

Yes. The Uccello Kettle’s tilt-to-pour design means there’s no lifting involved, making it deal for people with limited hand strength or joint pain.

What makes your products easier to use for those with arthritis?

Our products are ergonomically designed with comfort, control, and reduced strain in mind -like non-slip bases, and one-touch functionality.

How do you fill the kettle if there is no lifting involved?

There are 2 ways you can do this. The first, is like you would fill the average kettle. You can bring the kettle body to the sink to fill it. The second, is leaving the kettle body in the base and filling with a cup or a small plastic jug – this way you never need to hold the full weight of the kettle, just the weight of a cup of tea.

Are these products only for people with severe arthritis?

Not at all. They’re designed to support anyone who may be starting to experience joint stiffness, mild arthritis, or general mobility challenges.

Where do I put my cup when using the Uccello Kettle?

When it comes to using the Uccello Kettle, we are asked where is the best place to put the cup for a safe and easy pour every time. Truth is, there are 2 ways you can achieve this:

The first is by placing the cup (handle facing the kettle base) in front of the kettle. The Handle of the cup is no more than an inch away, this acts as the perfect guide for safe and steady pour every time.

The second is with the Uccello Grip Mat, the mat is placed against the 2 front feet of the kettle. Place your cup in the smooth center ring of the mat (regardless of where the handle is) and this too is the perfect location for a safe and steady pour every time.

Is there a warranty or return policy?

Yes, we offer a 2 year warranty on both the Uccello Kettle and Grip Mat. We also have an award winning Customer Care team who is always happy to help via email (customerservice@kcare.com.au) or phone (1300 783 783) which ever you prefer.
